Brown patina double buckle

A pair shoes with patina

Double buckles, or monk shoes, originated in the monasteries of 17th-century Europe. Designed to offer a practical, hard-wearing alternative to traditional buckles, these shoes quickly established themselves as an icon of men's style. Today, we offer a revisited model with a tobacco-colored, hand-applied “Museum” patina, and mounted on a weather-resistant commando sole.

In a nutshell,

A unique model, the patinated brown double buckle features a handmade patina that adds nuance to the leather. The copper buckle fastening allows the shoe to be adjusted, while the non-slip commando sole offers excellent grip, even in wet weather.

Features

Double buckle model

The double buckle is a highly versatile model that adapts equally well to formal looks and casual chic styles.

Patina

The tobacco-colored “Museum” patina is applied by hand, creating shades of brown that make each pair unique. It is reminiscent of aged wood or antique leather tones and gives the shoes a depth of color.

Sole

Designed for the toughest conditions, the commando sole is made of rubber. It provides maximum grip, even on wet surfaces, while absorbing shocks.
