Newt Scamender – Street Style

Let’s be honest, I don’t know a thing about Newt Scamander. If you’re familiar with the Harry Potter universe, perhaps you’re more likely to know that he’s the hero of the film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

If Newt interests us today, it’s mainly because he’s played by Eddie Redmayne. An Oscar-winning actor in 2015 for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking, he has also modeled for Burberry and Prada. Although the film’s action takes place in the early 20th century, Newt Scamander’s style remains relevant today, with a well-thought retro chic style. That’s why we wouldn’t change much in his outfit to keep it contemporary.

We recommend a beautiful blue herringbone coat from Loro Piana in virgin wool. This 580g fabric will fall better and keep our hero warm.

For the vest, we propose a virgin wool and cashmere blend from Tollegno, in a beautiful mustard color with fine flecks.

As for the pants, we offer a fine corduroy from Brisbane. Worn shorter or rolled at the bottom to show off the ankle boots.
